Today August 4th 2022 marked the official Grand Opening of the DOT led, REMA4US managed Beach 21st Street Plaza. Elected Officials such as Mayor Eric Adams, New York State Senator James Sanders, Queens Borough President Donovan Richards, NYC Councilwoman Selvena Brooks-Powers and Assembly Member Khaleel Anderson, participated in speaking about the newly developed Affordable Housing located just walking distance from the commercial district of Downtown Far Rockaway. These newly constructed buildings aim at providing housing for a struggling population in need of adequate support whilst also providing great quality of life amenities. These mixed use properties also provide commercial space for new and existing businesses in the downtown area of Far Rockaway.
